what to buy at end of summer
#2
If your not going to buy until the end of the summer i would keep an eye out for z400 reviews and i would def take a test ride on it, it def has more potential than the 400ex and maybe even raptor but only time will tell. as far as the ds650 goes i consider this machine in a different class than the others, if you want a big comfortable machine that is more of a cruiser sport quad(in my opinion anyway, and yes i have ridden one) then go for that.

hey bansheeman you sound like you have alot of money to throw around, why not invest in a c-dale? i myself havent rode one yet, but i do have friends with them and they had nothing bad to say about it. if i had money i'd probably go out after one of them. What kind of riding do you do? I think that would make a big difference on what I'd recommend. From the looks of things, you have a bit of trouble making up your mind. I ride a 2002 400ex, and I like it alot, and I have friends with raptors and banshees. If you're playing in the sand, there is no match for displacement, so I'd get the raptor (or DS-650 if you can handle the extra size and weight). If you do alot of woods riding, or even racing, I'd go with the 400ex or cannibal(in no particular order) depending on what your budget is, and how much you want to spend on modifications. But, if you're just going to sell your new bike a year down the road, why not buy a slightly used bike, and save yourself a thousand bucks or so?? Or buy a used 400ex and a used Raptor for the price of a new Cannondale. You've got plenty of time to think about it. Read the magazines. This month's atv action has a shootout between all of them. Might be worth the 5 bucks to do a little research.

NO i do not have a lot of money to throgh around im only 17 years old. I just know how to save my money to buy what i want. I think im going to buy a DS my causin has had two of them the first one was stolen when he went to glamis and now he has a 2001 black one. but he is still plaing for both. i like how comfortible they are and good power and rock solid. they are tough machines. i have to weight to the end of summer because i only have 500 dollars saved up and i always pay cash for my toys that way i dont have to worry about that payment every month.

My friend has one and it is the most comforatable Sport quad like you said. you can do wheelies but if you do trails i dont recommend it because the chances that it will fit is slim but if you dont i recommend you get it!
