Just got the Rubicon

Hey all,
I'm new here and thought id give this a try.I just got the Rubicon a lil back and love it! I went mudding in it last weekend and for stock tires, i did GREAT ! Well just some questions. what tires do you think i should purchase that is good in the mud and cheap but can also be ridden in sum trails? Thanks in advance.

hey,i had a fourtrax 300 4x4 and i put mud sharks on it.they are cheap but they wear awful fast keep it on the trail it should be alright then. they go really well through the mudd and handle well.it is just my oppinion.

I just put a set of ITP C-Series Aluminum rims on mine, with 26x9.5-12 Vamps in the front and 26x12-12 Vamps in the rear. Mine too went great in the mud for the most part on stock tires, but you ought to ride it now in the mud.

so what do you think of Mud Bugs? Im thinking about the range 27x10x12 27x12x12. ? . sounds good??

o yea. how much lug does the mud bugs have? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] like 1 1/4 in?

Vampires do great in the mud, but aren't made for hardpack and trail use. I would recommend either the Goodyear Mudrunners or the Titan or ITP 589's. Both are excellent on the trails, and still have plenty of bite for mudding.

.. i was thinking about the 589 m/t but there arnt any side lugs. but there are plenty of tread. what is the cheapest place to but them ?

Probably Rocky Mountain. They would be as cheap as anyone.
