I've owned a Polaris. I now own a Kodiak and a Honda now, although the Polaris and Honda are neither of the models you asked about, here are my thoughts.
I never had a single problem with my Polaris, but I definately believe that more people have problems with them than those that don't have problems. The Polaris are definatelt for those that don't mind a lot of maintenance, ie: grease zirks, tie rod ends, steering bushings, ect....
The Honda 450s are pretty dated machines, but bulltproof. They are also relatively slow compared to the others you mentioned. A riding buddy of mine has a 450ES, and whenever we venture into the mud, he is constantly stopping every 15 minutes to find a stick to dig the mud out of the shift buttons.
I really like my Kodiak, but it seems to be anything but waterproof when it comes to the belt driven tranny. It has given me trouble a couple of times. Other than that, I enjoy it. It's great in the mud, after the addition of some different tires.
If I had your choices, and was in the market for a new utility, I would purchase the Grizzly.
Ride each of them, and see what floats your boat, and fits into your budget.

If I was looking at the Foreman 450, I would take a look at the Magnum 500. I would definately choose the Magnum 500 because more power, smoother ride, auto-tranny, better mudder (true 4wd), disk brakes, and I like the Silver too.

Ever wonder why a Polaris with 2000 miles has depreciated twice as much as a Honda with the same mileage? One day, while having my Polaris towed back to the trailer by a nice guy on a honda, I figured it out. The new Griz 660 approaches Honda in reliability, and way outperforms the Polaris 500.
