well I'll tell ya what, I'm from West Union, Ohio, a small farming community and cops here are plain out a**holes, I'm sorry to be mean but they are, a buddy of mine was on a banshee about a year ago, and this was the first time they ever seen him on the road, and he got 12 hours community service, now thats bull if ya ask me, the boy should have at least got a warning because he never even ran, he stopped as soon as the lights came on. but the thing that really pisses me off, is the cop that pulled me over last summer, he gave me a ticket, and Ive rode with him before and he rode on the road just like I was doing when he pulled me over, but i have to admit i tried to run but he had rode them trails before and he knew where the trail i went down ended and he was there when i came out.

Where I ride near my house isn't exactly country. Part of it is an old land fill, the other is and old railroad track base (now just a powerline trail) that leads towards downtown (the Flats). Yes the cops by me will slap whoever they can with a fine...a huge one. It can get kinda risky since I have to cross a lot of main roads, and when you start heading towards downtown, YOU IN THE GHETTO BOY! lol So the cops aren't exactly the only thing on your mind.

You should move to hillsville, we dont have any cops around locally and when the state cops are around they dont bother much.

In NewBoston NH the cops are crazy, there everywhere ! A buddy of mine was riding down the road with someone on the back (slowly on the side) and a cop stopped them and they both got 15 HR's community service and the kid on the back was on probation for something so he got a nice fine too.

The good thing is it (the ticket/complaint)will be removed from your state record ( generically called the MVR ) in three years. Also in the event you are old enough to be driving and paying insurance your insurance company may not hold any thing against you when the item is removed from your MVR ( either through expiration or turnover in court, it's worth noting that insurance rarely checks a persons MVR/clue/DAT reports unless they have already piled up excessive tickets, so a ticket may slide for a year or two before they insurance notices it, in most states they have no recourse punishment just 'cause it slipped your mind to tell them of the ticket. ) There are independent agencies like 'DAT' that may start keeping a permenant record on you if you enter certain industries (commercial pilots/trucking/pipe fitting/sensitive public safety positions.) 'DAT' operates almost invisibly but it's unlikely you'll ever have a problem with them. The 'DAT' reporting does allow for discrimination in hiring for the listed jobs.

Lastly the general number of tickets for most areas is three in one year before licence suspension. Due to poor comunication and reporting one can have virtually unlimited tickets without loosing their license---as long as all the tickets aren't in one jurisdiction(or from one group of state police, but is sounds like your dealing with city kitties, not full grown bears. )
