back when I had my '89 250R I tore it down to the frame and rebuilt it back up, but I didn't have the foresight to split the engine cases. Boy did that come back to haunt me...
About a year later I was deep in the boonies and I threw second gear. Actually, it was more like an explosion- it came through the left case half and basically ruined the entire engine (tranny, anyways). Yeah, I no longer buy used machines, just not worth it unless it is a utility machine or something of that nature.

Out of the blue grizzprarie comes out and starts sayin some bull sh*t that was over with 2 days ago.So your saying that the 300ex is worse then the skyhawk 150 from kasea? well you are the most foolish person out of them all. Oh ya by the way i paid for my mods and half my payments so the hell with you.

Splitting the cases... Aaaah. If any of you guys would like your bottom end to be rebuilt, I will do it for $200. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Mine has cost me... $275 so far.
I thought it was pretty funny. Everyone's always told me to "Buy Honda reliability", and the 5th ride on my 250R busted the left case half. You live, you learn. Vini, Vidi, Vici.
