PS the 88-89 250R's are the best EVER!

I can't argue with you there. I would have to say that the Cannibal/Speed would be 2nd. I would say that the Moto 440 and the Blaze are the best but that just isn't fair to the rest of the market... there is NOTHING on the show room floor that can compare to the Moto and Blaze. The only thing wrong with the 250R is that the guys at Honda are complete friggin retards and discontinued it... every year they are getting more and more ancient (sorry to say) and I won't buy something that is 13 or 14 years old.

I'd say atleast 75%+ of people who buy a used quad do not split the cases and paint it and strip it down to the frame to look for cracks. Most people don't have the knowledge and or tools to do that.

HondaGuy300EX,

Whitout a shadow of a doubt, the Honda 300ex is the worst sport quad out there for the money. I am refering to manual shift "sport" quads. It is the slowest and ugliest of the bunch. It has good suspension, but what is it like $1,800 more than a Blaster? And the Blaster will spank the little 300's bottom like your parents should have done more of to you for starting such an ignorant post. Personally I don't care what anyone would say about a quad I owned, but there are some nice kids on this forum who have the quads you mentioned. Some of these kids used their hard earned money to buy them and here you go!

True... the worst sport quad out there is the one that Honda KNOWS how to make but they don't because their precious 400ex, are still selling like crazy.

yea spliting the cases is a skilled labor.however anyone can take apart a 250r.iv told you guy's there like a big lego set not hard at, all so i say whynot you don't know how old your bearing's seal's and bushing's are. so id rather do this have fried pivot bearing's help snap my swing arm or cooked wheel bearing's id rather do it up right away then have problem on a perfect dry sunny day with no wind, you don't have to rip apart the engine i guess my job is farm repair and iv been in small engine's for some many year's and as far as the guy with that raptor if you had me work on it that raptor would come back to you with an xr650 engine hehe
