i bought a esr trx5 pipe and silencer for my 250r and where the exhaust mets the exhaust flange i have a small exhaust leak. it seems like the pipe doesnt sit on there like it should. will buying the aftermarket esr exhaust flange fix this? is this a common problem (year-86)? and how should i go about fixing this?

then your pipe is mounted incorrectly, or wasn't made correctly. I had to fight with my ESR pipe a bit to get it to mount here correctly..different length spacers in the front motor mount and what not.
