4x4 sport?

I too love the smell to premix, and the sound of a freshly packed silencer. But in my opinion, just as impressive is the sound of a well built 4-stroke. I remember watching the "Sound of Thunder" motocross national at Washugal and feeling the ground shake when 40 pro motocrosser headed towards the first corner. Man was it GREAT (Sorry if I bored you with my trip down memory lane). In my opinion both engines types are cool, it all comes down to personal preference.

It's difficult to design a manual shift, manual clutch into a 4x4 quad and still make it reliable. You wouldn't think it would, but those extra drivetrain parts would be hell on a clutch. Not to mention if you got in some sticky mud. Chances are you'd burn up that clutch in no time flat. THat's my thoughts, anyway.

88blaster...put that $$$ in what you have, sounds like you need clutch mods & you need to cut the fat off the ride the best you can. Also, get the scoop on the best spacers, rims, tires & struts for better handling. Wish I had it for you. Check out (www.godigital-design.com)Schultz Motersports. The 400ss there has a lot of fat cut off and some in there claim to be 50 lbs lighter. That's a start!!!
runnintaco...sorry to hear you are following. The remidy for that is to buy your own 2-stroke.
