Looking to pick up some new handle bars for my 400EX. I really like the pro tapers, but I want pretty much the same bend as stock. To my knowledge, pro taper doesn't offer a quad bend. Would CR-Hi be close? How about TAG bars? They look almost identical and they do make a quad bend. What do you folks think? Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks

Are you looking for the oversize type without the crossbar? If not, check out Renthal bars. They make a 400EX bend. It will work with the stock clamp system.

I'm looking for the ones without the crossbar. Everyone has the Rental bars, I want something different. I think the Tag and Pro-Taper bars look pretty trick.

I use the TAG CR-Low bend they are a little wider and alittle farther forward.
They are great for MX and Jump'n.
Also VERY tough!

I would recomend the cr low bend also, they work great and that is what most people use.

I run Pro Taper CR low bends. They are excellent for MX, because you have to lean forward more, giving you more control over the bike. Tag's are too stiff for me. I like for my bars to give a little, and Tag's just don't. The cross bar is why. If you mounted a cross bar on Pro Taper bars, you would have a set of Tag's.
