Has anyone tried Pro-Taper Handlebars (ATV bend) on their Raptor?

I have the Tag T-2 bars with the universal mount, they are for dirtbikes so they feel lower and wider then the atv bars. They work fine for me no problems yet.

no i don't have a raptor but i have yet to bend these bars on my 400ex.i have went through three steering stems though.the 400's stems are puny and week compared to yamaha stockers.these are excellent bars you should never have to buy another set.

One problem to consider before buying indestructible bars, front bumpers, nerf bars, rear grab bars, etc. is when you do have a nasty crash, what do you want to replace? The bars or the steering stem? I understand the desire to go stronger than stock but just watch how indestructible the components are. There is always the weakest link to consider. You don't want the weakest link to be the most expensive link.

By the way, I ran Pro-Tapers on my WR400 and loved them. The good thing about bikes is that they are much stronger in the steering department and can handle super strong handlebars without bending the forks and head assembly.

i agree but my factory stems are only like $40 bucks and i would rather my stem bend than my cheap bars break i always get through the weekend on a bent stem.i finally bought a anti-vibe stem anyway.haven't had a problem since(knock on wood)hehe!

i got an anti-vibe stem and the tag t2 bars on my raptor, they feel so much better than the stock setup. it sits a lot better, and r a lil wider and straighter. i love it, but remember if u just get the bars then its gonna be sitting a lot lower be cause they r made to go with an anti vibe stem since they r so low arent they?
