megamax2 good choice??

I just orderd a fmf megamax2 complete system for my 00 300ex, i was wondering if this is a good pipe for this bike, and do i have to do anything to the carberator after or before i put the pipe on?? thanx for any replies

Good choice! If you can, don't use the quiet core insert and use all the supplied discs...the first and last disc will crush a little bit. Don't touch the carb yet...if it ain't broke, don't fix it! After the install, warm it up, run it hard and do a plug reading at full rpm's. Don't forget to add a k&n to give it some extra air on the intake. Enjoy!

I bought the same pipe for my 87' 250X it makes a hell of a difference let me tell ya!(pardon my french) it adds alot of power. i changed my main and pilot jet so i suggest that you do the same they will send you a yellow piece of paper and it tells you what to run. I would get a K&N air filter too i did that also! good choice!!!

Have one on my Wolverine. Great pipe. Sounds good too. I run with all the disks, and no insert.
