Lets say me and my buddy want to make a four wheeler race track like for woods racing/mx style kinda and i would want it AMA registered. How would a person go about doing that ?? Is there any specifications for the track or what? And if you were to make a track for quads what would you want on it? Me and my buddy are seriously lookin to amke a kick *** track this spring/summer but doubt it will get registered or whatever. Thanks

 

For the track I would put a tabletop at the finish line, and at least a double or 2 on the track with some whoops, just depending on how long the track is.

 

You need tons of dirt, euipment to move the dirt, water to keep the track from turning into a dust bowl, and constantly be fixing the track (ruts, holes, ect). It wouldn't be too bad to build a small personal track were you and some friends could race but it would just be too expensive for 2 kids to do. I was thinking of making a track myself but decided it would be too costly. Good Luck with whatever you decide to do.

 

See, Just today there was this race I went to and my buddy's were racing. It was a pretty awesome deal, nothing major just over all good fun and practice. There track is mainly all sand, after it getting worked up, no need to worry about dust.its just really soft. Were i live its mainly sand/black dirt. Really good stuff for tracks. We have one right now, its just we want one way bigger. My friends dad is pretty rich, he would love to help us out as long as some there is intake on money. After seeing how many people showed up at this track today, and they were charging 7 bucks a person just to watch not including racers had to pay too. There was probably 1,000 people there. Thats 7 g's real easy. But i know that it would be a bitch in the long run. But it would be fun. The race we were at was pretty awesome. I dont know if any of you saw that one trick black banshee on Ebay, but he was there. God damn hes fast. He got 1st. There was raptors there, but they didnt impress me at all. Loud as hell with pipes, but they just werent keepin up. I suppose alot is the rider, but why would someone spend so much damn money on a four wheeler and royally suck *** ? There was this awesome K & K racing 250R it was so trick. DUDE BLEW! He got like 2nd to last place. It was easily worth 10 grand. Rich fauckers.
