AFTERMARKET CAM CHAIN TENSIONER FOR 250X???

IS THERE ANY AFTERMARKET PLACE THAT SELLS THESE.
I WAS TOLD THAT THEY MAKE AN ADJUSTING CAM TENSIONER I JUST DONT KNOW WHERE TO LOOK. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP?
REMINDER: THIS IS FOR A 92 250X

You have to look no further than your engine. It has one stock. It's self adjusting. You can make it tighter if you want, but I wouldn't mess with it. Nothing is gained by tightening your chain above factory specs.

If anything, it would put more stress on that side of the camshaft. Not good. AND cause your timing chain to fiercely rub against the tensioner arm more than it should. Again,..Not good.

I agree with KNOWSALOT, there is nothing wrong with the stock tensioner. It rarely goes out, about $30 new (If I remeber correctly), and takes only a few minutes to put on.
