Thinking of buying a 91 250X. I know they are good
machines just wondering if there were any common problems with them. What I might look for when I inspect it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

 

I have a 1991 250X and it is a great machine.I have never had any problems with it, had to change the back bearings once. I have a DG pipe on it and a K&N air filter also. I've been clocked on it going between 50 and 60 mph. I've thought about selling it for the 400EX, but I hate too.

 

spend a couple extra bucks and get a 300ex. try riding the 250 then ride the 300.you`ll be glad you did.the power difference is better,the resale value is way better.and parts cost the same.
