Once again, the BS doesn't stop there either.

You guys wouldn't believe how many do-dos think that a powerband is an actual PART inside of a quad...or bike. I get at least half a dozen of them a week!!!

I had a guy yesterday wanting some parts for his old MX100. The parts he wanted were discontinued, and I told him he would be better off selling the thing for parts unless he wanted to keep it for memories sake. He told me he couldn't sell it because he had 400.00 tied up in it a few months ago by having some "shadetree mechanic" he knew down the street install a POWERBAND!!!!

I need to get in the business of installing powerbands. Anyone with me??

haha, yea I'll go in business with ya KNOWSALOT. Maybe if we install a rubber band from the front sprocket to the rear sprocket the person will think it's the real deal. It's so funny for me because I am still in school and there are so many kids that think powerbands are real things. I've heard a bunch of BS stories, the funniest was "I'll race your ATC250R and your friends Banshee against my TT-R125 and when my poweband kicks in, you'll be eating dust". I've convinced this 12 year old kid who lives down the road, that this Argo my neighbor had is a 3 stroke! Someone seriously needs to teach kids the basics of motors at the Elementary level.

I knew a guy that claimed to have ridden a wheelie at 90 mph on his banshee for over 7 miles taking turns and everything. If you tell him he is full of it, he will fight you.

This is a riot, just talked with a 16 year old the other day who has a Mojave 250 (one fast machine) and he rode one of the new prarie 650's (I know they are pretty fast) the stock one he rode was a little faster than a stock Raptor. I said yeah if they were both racing in mud.
