Just bought 91 250x great shape, runs strong.
Rear brakes are faded though, really have to push far down on the brake pedal to stop. Pads seem to be ok, what is the easiest way to adjust cable to brakes?? Any help is needed. Will change brake pads also but think that pedal will still be messed up.

ThankYou

I have had problems with the same thing on some of my older X's & EX's and it is usually the line either has air in it or you are loosing fluid.Look at the caliper real close .Take the emergecy brake plate off and see if there is fluid leaking there. If so there is an O ring there that is prone to leak after a little age.You are welcome to mail me if you want to go more into depth.GOOD LUCK.. P.S. There is no adjustment except for the emergency brake cable
