I was wondering what the speed of my new 2000 Honda FourTrax 300 4X4 thanx!

How should anyone else know what your top speed is?

A suggestion: take your Honda out, open it up; then you'll know!

given they don't have a spedo, this might be fairly difficult. I would guess around 44mph.

the top speed of a stock 300 4x4 is 52mph,i have a 300 with a supertrap ids and it does 56mph,it takes a least a mile run to hit 56mph.
I just bought a new rancher and its a great bike but it tops out at 51,dosnt feel to good when a stock 300 passes me on a 2 mile road.

No more difficult than for someone else; yet, the reported speed is not for the initiator's particular quad, but a similar one. The method for speed measurement used might prove interesting; GPS provides +/- 0.5 mph.
