Hello, i'm new here and would like to ask a question. I have a 98 Foreman ES and want to know when does the oil cooler fan turns on and how do i check it? Thanks

 

It turns on when it scences the motor is too hot. If you wanted to check it ride it around slow (1st or 2nd gear) for awhile at higher then normal RPM's, or haul a heavy load, (really work the motor) if it doesn't comeon then you know it's not working.
