Okay, am I mistaken or do you have to use the spark plug tool that comes in the tool kit to get the plug out. I'm gonna be pi$$ed if I have to go buy that dang wrench. I can't get a socket down on it.

Use the tool that came with it.

Thanks rodeo but I bought the bike used and it doesnt have the tool
That is why I am asking, I don't want to have to buy the tool. I think I'll just modify a craftsman socket if that will work.

Sorry about that, I missunderstood. You will have to mess with a socket to get it out, it works.

I found a deep socket STANDARD size that I could get on it, but it bearly got on it, so I had to push while I turned to get it broke loose.......I forget what size it was, maybe an 13/16? If you can get it out, yeah, you have to have that honda wrench. This is PPE at its finest. (**** Poor Engineering)

I'm unable to get a standard deep socket to fit down the opening where the plug is. The overall diameter is too big. I bought a spark plug wrench from a bike shop. Cost was 5 bucks or so, it worked so I kept it. It was too long to fit so I cut it the same length as the stocker and drilled a hole to make it like a t-handle.

Soggyrider u can use the a Craftsman socket without any mods it just takes lotta TLC and helps if u have some of the plastic off so u can see. But i'd say grinding the socket down would be a good plan.

Yeah, I think I used a craftsman. I know for a fact it was standard. It was a hair too small, so I did use a little TLC and gently pushed down while I turned, and it bit it enough to brake it free. A magnet works wonders getting it out once you unscrew it.

I ended up grinding down a socket, got the plug out, only to find out it did not need to be replaced Thanks for all the replies guys.
