I was wondering if the 400ex's will be comming out with reverse in future years. If so then when.

With the new Suzuki having more power AND a reverse for the SAME price as the 400EX, I would expect a more powerful engine with reverse on the 400EX OR a completely new quad altogether.

That's just my insight. Nothing written in stone. We will all have to wait and see IF and WHEN.

If Honda would add shaft drive, reverse, and some more speed the 400ex would be the best.Thats what i think.

i agree w/ dacuteboy4u, shaft drive, reverse and more speed would be nice, but corndog also has a point there, too.

well if you want my opinion you dont need reverse. if you can ride good then you will never need it. it would be nice to an extent but is all that extra weight worth it. c'mon, its not that hard to push it back if you have too. just my 2 cents.

I've had my EX since 99 and never once needed reverse. Also I wish Honda never adds it to this bike. Shaft drive adds weight and makes the quad harder to modify. Honda has done an excellent job on the EX. Never turned a wrench on mine yet. The only thing I would want different would be a larger oil tank and cooler.

well i could have use reverse a few times but w/ a little bit of thinking and good ridding i got out. really you dont need it and i agree, i hope that honda never puts it on the 400ex. to much weight and the price would go up for something that noone really needs, it just like a fast car, noone needs one but everyone wants one. reverse is a luxury, if you fell you need it then get a sport utility quad. and also, you can buy a larger oil tank and cooler. heck, you can modify you 400ex and still not spend as much as you would w/ a rapter or banshee stock.well just my 2 cents. Rid Red!
