i finally got my 300ex back. It has been down at my dealer for almost 2 months getting a top end rebuild. well what would every one recomend doing to break in the top end

soon to have the 330 kit? should have just did that insted of re-building the stock engine. Anyways just ride slow and avoid full throttle and dont rev or lug it. change the oil after 2 tanks of fuel and your set..

I WAS going to get a 330 kit but then my dad said that i didnt need anymore power. Thanks

330 kit means redoing the bottom end too. 305 is only a piston kit which is as large as one can go without MAJOR mods.

there is a 330 kit that involves a bigger sleeve puntched out to a 80 mm piston instead of a 76mm piston that gives you the 305 cc bike but if you do the math it only gives 297cc i dont have the numbers in front of me to give right now . email me if you want them . by the way what took the dealership 2 months to finish that moter work?
