Would I have to rejet if I dropped in a K&N Filter?? I was wanting to wait to rejet til I get my pipe after the warranty is up. Or would a pipe void my warranty?? I guess if I had to take it in I could put the stocker back on. Also do ya think that there would be a difference with the K&N on and the lid off?? One more...I was going to get either a DG or White Bros...any suggestions??
Thanks, Drew

You can drop in the K+N at any time,And the choice is up to you if you want to rejet.Don't expect much difference without the new pipe.
As for the warranty,Pipes and jet kit's don't affect it.I turned in my quad to the dealer after it blew up,And the dealer didn't care about the pipe and jet kit.Fixed under warranty.
Pipes and jet kits go together,One without the other dosen't do much.

I have a 400ex with a K&N and was told it might be damagig in the long run because it might make run leaner. I plan to reinstall the stock until i purchase jets. I am also look9ng far a pipe and i have chosen the white bros. e series, because it benifits the entire power band not just low to mid or mid to high. I am now just waiting on the funds hope this helps
