I redid a 400 ex once, man I don't know how many hours of sanding I did (20-30), I started out with to coarse of sand paper. It looked good when it was done, but then I sold it, so I don't know how long it lasts.

It works, but is a bigger pain in the @$$ than anything else. It usually takes two kits to do a quad if you have scratches and fading on the front and rear fenders.

If you have a late model Honda with the American fenders[400EX,Foreman,etc] you will be better off just to buy new fenders. They run about 90.00 for the front and 90.00 for the rear.

If you have a Honda with the Jap fenders[300EX,TRX90] the plastic renew is a good idea because those fenders[OEM style] will run you close to 800.00 for front and rear.

I used plastic renew on a couple of fenders. A lot of sanding was required . Fenders looked pretty good when done but when I washed them with Costal Power Clean the stuff started to get funky, almost like the cleaner melted it or something. If you use renew be careful using any strong cleaners.
