I have a 99-250recon in ok cond.new dirt devils,front bearings,swing arm bearings,floorboard.For a 96-300ex in ok cond.runs,drives smooth,good power,no smoke.Power for power speed for speed what do ya think?

Sounds like a decent deal for you. I see 300EXs, about the same year, in the local paper for right around 3,000. The Recon was roughly around 3199 msrp, so I'd think you are making out pretty good.
