Knowsalot may, as usual, have the answer here. I had this same problem and it was almost the last piece of the machine left on the machine. I put it in a HYDRAULIC PRESS and couldn't get it out for fear of bending the frame. I tried every tool that I could think to do this with. Ultimately it was the sawzall that came through for me, even though the bolt was then in 3 pieces. calatv.com will set you up with a good used bolt for about $30 Don't worry that it's used, just pull that pivot and grease all internal parts every 6-12 mo. If you ride it in water, do it once a month.
