Does the Rancher ES have a high/low range?

I have a Rancher 4x4 ES. Top speed on packed gravel is 51 MPH. Fastest on wet grass is 48 MPH. I beleive the computer is shutting it down at that speed.

There is no HI/Low.

I ride with 2 Kodiak 400. 1998 & 1999. The Ranger runs away from them ANYWHERE. I have alot of practice pulling both Kodiak out of the mud. Also had to tow the 1998 Kodiac 12 miles home because of engine troubles.

anyone have any ideas as to how to adjust the rev limiter on the ranchers??? they seem to rev higher in the lower gears but top out quickly in 5th. is there a way to adjust or turn it off without blowing the engine?

I finally got a chance to wind out my Rancher and was able to hit 52mph on hard pack.I do not need to go any faster than that.

I usually leave my Rancher in 4th gear for most trail riding,it has alot more torque than my old 300 4x4 did.I find myself upshifting instead if downshifting going up hills.
