anyone know if the 400 foreman has a revlimiter

Hey, My dad has a 1999 Foreman 450 and I installed a yamaha hour/tachometer and i was hitting 7800 and i never hit any limiter. This might be different but they are almost the same quad.

But d you actually need one?if you here the engine revingtoo loud shift it.

i mean in fifth gear full throttle alot of people say they have a rev limiter but i never got mine to kick in yet

I used to own one. Yes they have a rev limiter. Believe me I bounced off it like crazy. What's the point in revving the snot out of a formean. They are all lowend and no top end.
