I still say the speed thing is always going to be an argument. Here are my thoughts... Polaris is getting better at quality control but I still think they have a way to go. I believe 2 Scramblers could come off the line one after the other with one being noticeably faster. This is not to say the same doesn't happen with Honda I'm sure it does. But with tighter control plans & quality inspections probably at a less noticable rate. The other thing is I think Sports /Scramblers & 400Ex's are so close in acceleration & speed that either could win any day. Sure, that 400EX might be faster than that Scrambler 500, but is another 400Ex faster than that Scrambler 400 2X4 (I hate that, just call it a Sport!)Anyway, see my point? I mean I've had people on the board tell that my Scrambler 400 could never beat a 400EX. But you know what??? It has several times. However, should I find another 400EX that for whatever reason is having a good running day (you know how fun those are, some days it justs seems like they've got more oomph!) I might be looking at the chrome rear of that fat 400EX muffler. Sure a Banshee & Sport are close but the Banshee is going to win 99% of the time, but a 400EX & the Scramblers are so close I think between quads, riders, weather, traction etc you just never know.
