250r Problems!!

I see you already changed your reeds, but they should lay flat against each other, no gaps. The gap shows that the reeds have been flexed many times and don't return to their normal position. I really am not sure of what type of condition this would cause, but I would think maybe a low vacuum pull through the carb since it isn't sealing all the way, could cause a bad idle or no idle. Good Luck getting the jetting dialed in. Sometimes it can take awhile until its right, my advice is not to change several jets at once as you said you did. That can lead to more work and time, because as you fix one throttle position by leaning it out, you may cause another position to become TOO lean and vise/versa if your jetting up. Your best bet is to change one thing at a time so you don't get into trouble, and sometimes it helps too keep a log, after you change a jet, right it down and then write down how it ran with it and what the plug looked like after you ran it.
