What would give the 400 EX more of a performance gain? The FMF Titainium 4 or White brothers ?

Well,I heard that the Titanium 4's were better than the Yoshis so......I'd go with the Titanium 4.

I've got the Yoshi titanium pipe, and it's really nice. I know it's faster than the WB pipe, because I've beat every 400ex that I've raced that had a WB E-series. Plus, I weigh 215 lbs, so I've got a weight disadvantage in most drag races. Another good thing with the Yoshi, is that you can buy the T.E.C. endcaps for $40, and be able to ride in areas that do sound checks. The smallest insert makes my pipe quieter than stock. I personally haven't seen any of the FMF Titanium pipes on bikes yet, but I have heard alot of guys complaining that the FMF pipes have been rusting and get "locked" onto your stock headpipe. I know of 2 guys that had to cut the stock header just to remove the rusty FMF pipe. These guys' bikes were always very clean, so I don't think there was a reason for the FMF slip-on to rust so fast, but they did. There's my $0.02...
