I am planning on buying a 400ex soon and i am kinda getting sick of all these people in the post talking about how much more power all these other new quads have. Its also kinda funny to see posts that rip on people that ride these slow pieces of sh** called the 400ex......most of these people dont own hondas so why would u be in a honda forum...anyways..... Personelly, i have ridden 2 stroke dirtbikes all my life and i want to buy a quad that handles really good. I want to get into racing again and think that the 400ex with a couple of mods would be a great quad to get back into the sport with.....so i was wondering, when i get my new 400 i want to get A arms and a swingarm along with some suspension.(hopefully axis) Now how much different are the lower end names compared to like leager, lonestar and roll design. I see alot of project quads with roll design but that is mad expensive...just looking for some input...thanks...

If you have ridden 2-stroke dirt bikes all the time, you are really going to be dissapointed(sp?) with the 400EX's power. If you want to jump back into the sport with the best, buy a 250R. You will save a whole **** load of cash. The 250R will probably already have some mods done to it,since they're the top race quad ever made. With the cash you save you can really mod up the R.
