TRX450F

Honda should make a TRX450F quad using the crf450f motor. They claim that 450f motor has 55bhp at 9000 rpm, This would be my dream quad? Someone post your feedback on what you think about a TRX450F quad? I strongly believe that they are the in works of it.. in a Dirtwheels there was an article that Honda called the AMA judges or whatever... to see if they would bump the limit to 450. Let us know what you think?

Yeah, they wanted it bumped up to 450 for the motorcycles. I don't think they'll make it in a quad. It requires to much maintanance and most of the people that buy quads are mechanical idiots that can't even put air in their tires right. The quads would end up breakin down due to lack of maintanance and that would kill Honda's reputation. IF they did make it by some small chance in hell, it would be tuned down like crazy just like all the other quads out there that COULD be bad ***. They'll probably come out w/ a 650... tuned down ofcourse... heavan forbid that quad riders might get a little power out of their stock machines.

Sorry to burst your bubble there TRX450F, but IF they made the Honda Race quad using the CR motor, it would be called the TRX450R. The bike is called the CRF450R The "R" being the race designation, the "f" at the end of the machine name means it is a trail machine, such as the CR150F and kid like machines meant to "Replace" the XR line. Pay attention.

Yeh and a bicycle maker should come out with a all aluminum, fuel injected, 432cc race motor that puts out over 40hp and can hang with 660 650 big bores and handles like a 250r and weighs less than a 400ex..............we can always dream, can't we???? BTW I would love to see the 450f and yz426 in a quad, but doen't you have to change the rings on the 450f like every ten hours? Yeh that will happen, haha.

Yeah, pay attention Gary Manilow...the "F" designates the machine is Four-Stroke..not a trail machine.
