Bill C.I said traverse a hill which means sideways to most of us,try that on your Sportsman once, all i can say is i know what i saw and it did not seem right. Also,i have a new Rancher that is no longer 3 wheel drive as you say.Try riding through water at a good clip with your Polaris and see how the belt will slip as it does on my friends 99'Sportsman.It's really funny!! "True 4WD" becomes "NO Wheel Drive" !!!

I love the look of round headlights, especially the Grizzly. That thing looks awesome... Of course not as good as the Banshee!

I also like the look of the "other" style Polaris's like the new Xplorer 250 over the ones with plastic racks, etc...

Man, I heard you Honda guys were funny! Styling? Ugly Quads? Hondas look more like tractors than Corvettes, so your argument is which toad is prettier? You know, the things were designed to be tough, not cute!

Far as I'm concerned, any quad carrying its rider on the trails is a beautiful sight. Me, I have a Suzy KQ. Love it!

Oh, by the way! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Don't be near-sighted!

BZIZZI.I know what you mean.I believe that the tires were probably mis-matched or there was a problem with the AWD system.I've done it,never a problem sliding as you mentioned. You'd be suprized at how well the AWD system works on the Sportsman. As for the belt slipping on the Sportsman,It only happend bad to me one time. And it was totally due to the Dealership mechanic not installing the cover seal correctly. It is my understanding that the Rancher uses a torque sensing differential which will provide traction to only one front tire, the one that needs the traction. It is a better set-up than conventional limited slips, but it's still 3wd no matter how you look at it.Your Rancher is quite a quad no doubt, but I like the Sportsman to.-----BILL

Bill C. Does your Sportsman have EBS? I know two guys with Sportsmans one with EBS and one without, the one wothout EBS will do almost 60MPH,and the other will do about 53MPH.I did not know there was a difference until i saw them race.

Sounds like you have a really awesome package, how do you like the Mudrunners?I would like to put 25" mudrunners on my Rancher,it has plenty of room and power compared to my old 300 4x4.How do they do on hardpack and dirt.
