I am thinking of putting a new exhaust system on my 300.
Any suggestions on which is best for the machine?

FMF Power Core IV2 S/A. IT COMES WITH A HEADER PIPE. That stock header is ludicrously small!!

www.powroll.com get their 3" supertrapp it comes with a header too all for only $200. I have one and in my humble opinion it is the best pipe out there.

I have a Big Gun full system with stepped headpipe, it sounded cool and added power everywhere. I am selling my 300EX now so I took it off and will sell mine.

I originally bought a Supertrapp IDS-2 system for a former 250x. I then installed it on my current on when it had a 273 big bore. I thought the powroll system might be better so I ordered it. It was the same size head pipe with the same size discs. The only difference was the exhaust went sideways out of the discs and onto your plastic instead of being inside of a tube like the IDS system is. The IDS system keeps the exhaust from blackening your plastic. I have had bad experiences with the quality of FMF exhausts so I would recommend either the powroll or IDS.
