I was goin 30mph down the road and wam bam and piece of the crank shot out the front of my 2000 400EX and the piece of crank went right into the oil resivor tank. Can you believe this. There is now a softball size hole in the front lower half of my engine the only thing good left on the engine is the starter. everything is junk. anyone have any ideas where I can get a new engine. anyhelp would be liked greatly

That really, really sucks. But you know that already. Let us know how much it costs you in the end, hopefully its not more than you can afford. I know would cry if I couldnt fix mine.

try a motorcycle salvage.

what happened, or didn't happen, to cause your engine to blow up like that?
