I just sold a 400EX and now have a Z400... No comparision really. The 400EX is an excellent handling quad and the Z400 handles every bit as well. But the Z400 has such an increase in power over the 400EX it is hard to believe they are of similar displacement. Of course reliability is still unproven on the Z but only time will tell.
