The funny thing is...I don't OWN a quad. But I know a good bit of stuff about them. You get that "pro-rider" thing when you have over 200 posts. I have like almost 400. I would rather slit my wrist,or sleep on broken glass,maybe even eat my own liver,or practice my swimming,and diving,in a full septic tank. No bayou or any other utility quad for me,besides a p-650.

I know how you feel man it took me about one and a half years to finally get enough cash for the quadzilla ($3000). Im 16 now and plan on getting my first job at my local atv dealer ive become good friends with most of the people there. But I actually made money buying junke go-karts and fixing the engines repainting the frame and selling them and soon learned that you cant make any money on them because people want them dirt cheap but keep your hopes up and when the time is right you will get a quad.

Buy a spyder first of all and if you plan on buying a cocker you better start learnign cause it took me 2 years and many hundreds of dollars to truely learn how a cocker works. On top of this you can get a used 400ex fro 3500 now days. Or a 250r for 3000-4000. Save your money and get a job. I have had a job since i was 12. Mowing lawns, pulling weeds. WQhat ever it takes. Dont quit, just be patient. Good Luck

<< The blaster runs about 55 mph. It is a very good starter sport quad, and you should be able to pick up a used one for around $2000. >>
Thrust;
I'm not going to try to talk you into buying a quad if you are not ready to yet.
I WILL say that you WILL blow a lot of money on paintball!
I know cause I used to play on a tournament team (Raven) in Oregon a few years ago!
All that money you are blowing on paintball COULD be put toward buying a quad if you really wanted to.
RebelYFS200 was correct about the Blaster.
I (probably) just sold our 93' Blaster for 1700.00 in EXCELLENT shape!
It's all in what you want, and how bad you want it!
Good luck in whatever you decide to do!

Hey, do you mind if I ask what kind of gun your gettin. I myslef am the KNOWSALOT of paintball. I've been playing for about six years and use a Black Magic Cocker, and a Spyder (that hardly ever breaks down by the way) that I can't seem to get rid of. I got more money in that gun than I have on my Cocker. I am a tech for my local stores and just float around to whoever needs a tech for a tourney. I play a few tournies here and there but I just don't like the atmoshpere of tournamennts and prefer playing people who think they are all bad with there Stingrays and then I pull out "Big Bertha". Its funny to see their faces.
