Where's the Rincon??

Hello Honda! - how about a sneak peek or send around a demo on your road show. I've been waiting for almost a year - just want some information to convince me not to buy something else for another 6 months. Heck - with enough convincing, I'd put my money down if a dealer would give me a rubi to ride until mine came in.

Brent - I accept and respect the argument that this quad is priced too high and that those of us that buy one at list just perpetuate Honda's premium pricing policy. The other side of the coin is that Honda has demonstrated a continuous history of solid engineering expertise including 2 new non-belt drive auto trannies in 3 yrs. We've always seemed to pay more for a honda, be it quad, bike, car, lawn-mower, etc. Is the reliability factor worth the extra? Well, that's up to each buyer. For me, I'm walking the fence as the price for the Rincon seems high, even for a honda. So I need more info, I need to hear what others have found out about it, and, I need to ride it before making a decision. I'm just frustrated that I can seem to get much more info, and a test ride is still way out of the question.
To be fair, my short list of other potentials are:
Quest 650 - good all around, nice seat for my big butt
Sportman 500HO - though I worry about reliability
Griz - love this bike! Hate the belt drive
Prairie 650 - reliability seems hit and miss
Yeah - sounds familiar to lots of folks.
Thank god for you folks that offer constructive information and first-had advice

I agree that Hondas are more reliable,BUT Kawasaki's are usualy faster & there is no way a single cylinder engine is going to be as fast as the big V-TWIN on the P650. It is having a few problems, but this thing is a blast to ride. Engine is so powerful, probably will run forever.
