Very true,the Kawi 650 is a very nice ATV,however,its still a belt driven ATV and I am PERSONALLY done with belt driven ATVs.

It'll without a doubt be the new HONDA Rincon for me.I have the very first one when they come thru my dealership door.

Hi Guys;
Whats the big deal with belts? Ski-doos have used them for years. Belts are very durable...keep in mind any 600+cc ski-doo is running a TON more horsepower than any quad will have.
My friend just put the 3rd belt on Kawi 400 with 20000kms on it, thats like 12000 miles !! Thats not bad at all. I would hate to replace the car-like tranny on the Rincon in the field...let alone the price!!! The Rincon is a nice bike to look at...but Honda have got to lower the price!! No front- locker, a push-rod engine, and drum bkakes(correct me if i'm wrong) Honda are not going to beat the competition by looks and reliablity record alone. Some of the competition is very formidable with better features, and lower prices...the Rincon has it's work cut out for it. It will be very interesting to see how the Rincon will stack up against the Kawi650 or Yam Grizz660. I imagine the mags will have their professional, unbiased,truthfull , "not bought off opinion" to set us all straight!! HEE-HEE .

In towing power it just doesnt cut it only 850 pounds when you can go to another big bore atv that can pull over half a ton.And whats up with those drum disks come on honda you can do better than that.Man im glad i am yamaha owner no offense to honda cause they make great products.

If you haven't noticed Honda has always been conservative in their towing weights and secondly, I think to many people are hung up on disc brakes,Your not doing 200 miles an hour down a back stretch. I've been on a number of machines with disc brakes and the dirt grinding between the pad and rotor gets annoying after a while. I'm also sure that if the brake isn't sealed from water it will work like crap till it dries off. Sometimes there's a reason for their madness.

Hi guy's;The Kawi650 has a SEALED rear brake that consists of a clutch-like pack of pads in an oil bath!! The technology is borrowed from heavy equipment such as a tractor. It will last forever and is not exposed to the elements. The recommended replacement time is 6000 miles or 10000kms!!! The brakes on this machine will stop on a dime!

That's a great system, I've ridden one and they do work great. I have also been on some polaris, Acrtic cats and Yamahas that have the exposed disc.

Towing limit's. What's that?? My old 01 Rubicon has made over 300 trips hauling gravel @ 1800-2000 lbs per load, plus my 270 pound butt on it. Stock, runs great and no problems after 1000 plus miles. Wish I could say the same about my 02 Polaris SP700.
