300ex or Warrior
#2
Here we go again! I rode a Warrior for years, and I CAN NOT recommend it to anyone for any reason. It is faster than a 300 if you are going in a straight line, and has great bottom end power. BUT, it handles more like a big, heavy utility than a sport bike. The Warrior suspension is mediocre, where the 300 is good (but not great). The 300 is faster out on the trail, because it has very quick handling.

Man, should we just put a 300ex or warrior icon forum index, lol. Not to be mean quadkid but this question is asked a lot, and i mean a lot. To best answer this question look in history on the yamaha and honda forum. You will notice that almost everyone recomends 300ex in this forum and vis-versa in the yamaha forum. Hope this helps.

warriors are a tad bit faster (i can stomp them in a str8 line on my slightly modded 300ex) but if your gonna get this class of machine, your probably not gonna worry to much about str8 line races, i loved my 300ex on trails/str8 line and the mx track, its a good all around machine, good suspension/power cant beat it (in this class anyway) infact the only reason im selling mine is cuz im to big for it now, if your worried bout beating a warrior, get a new pipe and its all over, youl win easy same with the blaster, youl beat that easy als, if your even considering getting a blaster, dont, once u get to highest gear and high rpms, it feels SOOOOOOOO cruddy, feels like yer goin bout 35-45 mph, and it just isnt fun at all....but the 300ex haasnt let me down and i loved it
