My front breaks on my recon don't start to grab unless the handle is pulled all the way down. I THINK there is air in the line. How easy is it to fix? I need to bleed the air out but not sure how. I'd rather not take it to a dealer because there will rape me on labor costs. Any help would be great.

Thanks

You probably just need to adjust the front brake shoes. After you adjust your brake lever should feel better. It tells how to do this in your owners manual.

The front brakes are not sealed good at all so if you were in any kind of water they will need to be cleaned and reajusted but you will be wasting your time because the first time you go into some water it will be back to the same way !

Thats the only complaint on are 1999 recon we had for my wife.

IN hte front whel rim yuo should see a red plug. Now pull the plug out and search around for the tightner. It is a wheel with some ribs on it.Once you find it take a screw driver and push the ribs up.When you cant push it up any more the brakes are Tightened.Do this to both wheels and make sure yuo have enough CLEAN brake fliud. Oh and gergb NICE TRUCK man!!!!
