Im pretty sure the pipe will bolt right up cause both quads have basically the same chassis but as for the suspension i aint for sure.

I think that the recon and 250ex have the same a arms and swingarms because they are the same bike except for the ex has different plastic and disc brakes. I do no that the rims off the 250 ex will not fit the recon.

 

I dont think that that would work because the 01 recon doesnt have the same engine as the 250ex. The only recons that have the same engine as the 250ex are the 02. Teh 03 might but im not sure.

 

The suspension probably will work but i dont think the pipe will.

 

The 250ex and the 01 recons have the same engine it is just that the 01's the engine head is different and the carbs are different but like you said the 02 are the exact same except for the plastics. im pretty sure the 03 recons didnt change, they only got a yellow color.

You should do a search on this because i think i saw somethin like it before. IF you find nothin then just tell your brother to go to the local parts delarship and ask.

 

The frames are slightly different. Im pretty sure that where the exhaust bolts on is different. Cuz I was gonna put my stock exhaust on my friends lil bro's recon and it wouldnt fit right. The front a arms are slightly different too. But the shocks might still work. dont know.

 

Thanks he says hes gonna get a supertrapp and just bolt some works shocks for a honda 300 on it because they are supposed to fit!
