two weeks ago i was mudding at the badlands and my machine started to overheat. i shut it down for the day. came home washed it and flushed all the mud out of the radiator fins and gave it a go this past weekend. and not two hours of just trail riding it started to overheat again. needless to say it cut my day short. anyone have any ideas of why my machine might be overheating? thanks for the advise ahead of time.

I had this same problem. Try removing the black plate and clean the radiator out completely. The way i did this was to take a spray bottle and put hot water and some 409 in it. I sprayed about 2 full bottles of the mixture and it cleaned it up real good. Have not had an overheating problem since. Also you might try and check your coolant. Hope this helps.

well it ended up being clogged with mud. i took it in the the dealer to get a tune up and had them look at it and they said it was packed with mud. i am going to the badlands on the 13th, so i will find out if that was actually the problem. thanks for your info
