looks kinda cool but thats because its just another raptor wanna be just like the z 400, i wish they would both come up with their own plastics.

 

In my opinion, I think theyn ruined the looks with all of the square lines on it. It reminds me of a 1950s science fiction movie, where they try to make a very bad rendition of a futuristic robot, know what I'm trying to say?

You have many good points and I agree with alot that you say...however you missed my point.
The 300-400EX are fine machines(extremely reliable,excellent handling and good jumpers) given there limitations.And true- the 400EX did revive the horsepower war to some extent.
However I ride sand dunes and POWER reigns supreme in the sand !! the 300-400EX is significantly down on power compared to the newer models !!! Honda has rumored of many new powerplants but has yet to produce anything, and is behind in the H/P "war". The predator's suspension looks like it has travel to spare(we will see).
Looks wise-I will have to see one and let it grow on me a while, but I think it looks good(at least its not another raptor clone,I think the predator looks much meaner than any EX). I am sure when and if honda steps up to the plate it will be good, but alot of us have moved forward to more current quads by todays standards.
Any way, what my point is: the predator can only turn up the heat to produce better performing quads for all of us !!
I hope this thing DOES beat banshees(I wanna see it first) !!!!
However, call me a "nay sayer" because we have heard this a few times before! Now I want to see it- in the sand, with my own 2 eyes (dirtwheels speaks with forked tongue) !!!!! Good Luck !!!!!!

 

o, lol you ride sand (u lucky bastard lol wish their were dunes around here), ya i heard the EX's wernt to good in sand, im hoping for sake of duning that it does beat a banshee, cuz of the wole 2-strokes being banned on public land issue, its going to REALLY suck for thse people that have put big big big bucks into their dune racers, but i dunno if the law will apply to dunes....i think the predator, looks pretty descent, IMO this is what the front end of the cannondale should have looked like....

 

I also saw 2 of these here in WI last weekend. They don't seem too bad for a Polaris! Pretty quiet sounding.

If Honda made a 650ex no one could touch it and the government wouldn't let any thing much bigger out on the market. Honda needs to join the hi perf scene and take back the lead. we all know that within a year or two we will see something great from Honda those guy have been working on a new machine since the release of the 400ex.
