The last I heard was that it will be something similar (4 or 5 buildings) but only 50 or so stories tall.

<< Our Cyber City will have a State of the Art External Security System which at this stage evolves around "Sound Waves" which has the capacity at a specific frequency to repel flying objects up to a five mile circumference >>

I think they have been watching too many Sci-fi movies. Even so, I don't think it would be approved.

I like it, but was thinking the same thing.
No matter what kind of securiry system you have, the same thing COULD still happen again.

Seriously, Whats going to stop a boing 737 captain that goes bazerk from barely flying outside the "five mile no fly zone" then all of a sudden banking in and..... well, you know.
You cannot launch military F-16's and get them there in time.
5 miles goes by in about 40 seconds at a 450mph cruise.(easily attainable by ANY airliner) Thats how long it would take to take out the building AGAIN from the edge of your "no fly zone". How can you "repel" a whacko pilot
at the controls of an airplane? On the other hand,
A similar airplane impact will not down this structure. They will build it so much stronger. Probably use some new steel that cannot be melted with a fuel fire.
Anyway, I like the new building plans.

Looks good to me, but it would be nicer if it had a MX track.

LOL!!!copguy02foremanS, I was thinking the same thing. It could have some SAM's or would that be TAM's (tower to air missiles)?

Mr350X, please inform me on this new steel. I would like to tell our structural engineers about it. I'm sure the archies and PM's would love it to seeing that they won't have to pay a contractor to come and spray firesafing on the steel.

2fiftyx, sams, lol, underground missiles would be cool... or maybe it can have a parachute in each room? maybe a parachute in each room will become standard in all buildings targeted for destruction?
