Hey guys, in Spain you can drive a quad in the street. It make a lot of sense to have street tire. Haven't you seen the Raptor with street tire?? Amazing. I wish we can drive them on street here too....

Actually, ATVs can be made street-legal in some states with the addition of blinkers, a horn, brake light (if necessary), and a mirror (and a speedo if you don't wanna get busted, 'cause you KNOW they'll pull you over just to find out if it's street-legal, anyway). As far as I know, street tires are not neccesary, but I'll be getting some when/if I make a street legal ATV, 'cause you can bet those dirt tires won't last too long on pavement.
Like somebody already said, WyoDuner's 'Shee is legal in Wyoming, and there's somebody here on the forums with a street-legal Banshee with a single wheel in the rear (I believe it's a kit from MikeTrike).

Call your local DMV and ask them if it's possible. If they say no, call up another nearby DMV (there was a discussion on this a while ago, and it was decided that some DMVs will say you can't do this, even if you really can in that particular state.)

When/if I can do this, I'll be sure to post pics and a good long story about how it all went. I have to find a Banshee first, though...

I think the owner of that ATV is the guy around here who has an FX4 Ford Supercrew with 22" wire wheels.

That 400ex is stupid. Imagine taking an off-road vehicle and riding it on the road? Who would want to do that?

Sort of like SUV's. Why would anyone buy an off-road vehicle and drive it mostly on road? I hardly ever see any SUV's on the roads.

Seriously though, that 400ex is a waste of money. However it would be awesome to be able to ride legally on roads with ATV's in my state. Over here you can't even cross the road without getting pulled over.
