what does the stage2 jet kit do for the 250ex

no. im not. if you put in a air filter you will probably have to go up one or two sizes on the main jet. if you put on a pipe you would would have to do the same. But you cant just put on a huge main jet on a stock machine. the jets compensate for added air flow.

Since there have been several replies in several different ways to your questions and you still don't quite get it, I suggest you go back to the top of this thread and re-read v- e- r- y-- s-l- o- w- l- y all of the replies regarding &quot;jet kits&quot; and/or rejetting in general.Then I'm sure you'll understand the value of these kits and what they actually do.

I just bought a K&amp;N air filter and Jet kit. I dont have any exhaust system on my quad so the jet kit ran crappy. I didnt even need it, it made it run too rich. By the way...

TRX250EX - Mods are -K&amp;N, Prm Bumper, Holeshot on Douglous in rear 20x11x9.

I would get one if i were u unless u get a pipe/ filter first... and still dont bother with it unless ure bike is running bad... u dont get much for the price of it anyway
