Go with the new blaster. It finally has hydraulic brakes.

Stick with the 250x, you will be much happier, and find that you can do many more things with the 250x to make it an even better machine. It already would have better handling and better low end. Plus you have the advantage of four stroke reliablity, along with the honda guaruntee. The blaster is to small of a machine unless you are 12, and the mojave doesnt have all that many choices when considering modifications. I can't stress enough the importance of the 250x's reliability. I have raced mine all summer and the X just wants to keep getting beat. Nothing has been bent or broke except my rear axle from a guy hitting me, so i got myself an LSR axle. Other than that no problems whatsoever. You dont see mojave's or blasters on the track anymore. When it comes to the fastest, well, on the track, its the honda of course, but more of the rider. My engine is complety stock with an oversized exhaust and aftermarket silencer. I manage to beat banshees all the time on the track. Its pretty sick when you get to roost 350 twin two stroke!! hahahaha

Man i dont know what your smoking blaster is 55 warrior is 60 and a stock 250x is in the mid 50s. And modified 250x in the 60s
Still anyway you go the 250x is the best

Stupidhurts is rigth about the speeds but i don't know if the 250x is the best. I mean it is old while you can get a newer mojave and the mojave has a better reverse and is a more powerful quad with the same displacement plus dual over head cams. If you don't have myuch money to spend then you can buy and old 250x but you could also buy an old mojave. If you have like 2500 to spend you can get like a 2000 mojave in good shape with mods.

i have toasted a new mojave on my wifes 88 250x. with a pipe and filter they do great. i've seen my wife burn a couple of blasters on it as well. just doubt it can keep up with a banshee.
