<< Are the feet all healed up. >>

My foot is wartless now. I am in top riding shape. I was a sad sight running with a portion of my foot cut off. I am back to running over 2 miles a day. I must stay in shape for the quick ride when I run those stray 400ex's off the property. Only thing there has been less and less 400ex's to run off. The new threat is the new Suzuki's. So far the Raptor has been up to the task of running them down and telling them where the property lines are. I then simply escort them out.

You guys kill me. The 400EX is a great quad. It is simply outdated. It needs reverse and more power to retain sales figures. The Z is great as well. Reliability is wonderful. I ride hard and have been going so on quads and three wheelers since 1983. Every quad has had some problems.

All this talk is rediculous, Dirtwheels said that Suzuki copied almost everything on the 400 ex and just added a few options and an up to date motor in it. Big fricken deal, Honda will replace the 400ex with something better sooner or later (probably later) and once again Big Red will be back on top! And best of all it will be a machine that Honda R&D designed from the ground up, not a clone of someone elses bike.

Can't we all just get along?!
Personally, I think the reason there is so many different bikes, is because there are so many different type of people. Just like some people swear by Chevy's and some by Ford.
I have a Warrior and my husband has a Raptor and daughter has an suziki LT80. They are all great.
I had a great Warrior that I sold to a friend, and oh my gosh, it is trashed! They also have a new Raptor which is falling apart because of the way they take care of them!(He has had the thing since Feb. and my husband had to practically change the oil and sparkplug for him cause he has never done it, sad or what!)
So anyway, I really think that you guys waste a lot of time arguing over who has the better bike, when you should be putting all of your energy into who is the best rider!LOL.
I guess that is why we have free speech though. So ride hard and stay alive!

I don't know, my son liked his 400ex alot better than his z, he wants me to sell the z, and get another 400ex for desert. He likes his 450 just fine in the dunes, he always got waxed on the 400. I'm probably gonna sell the 450 too, and get another 400ex. I might put the sparks 465 kit on it.

If the Z has little bottom end, the EX has none. Ive raced EX's and even in first gear I walk them. I've also ridden the EX. It is a great quad, but just getting behind the technology curve a bit. That will change I'm sure.

how do you have the 450 kit on the z400 already?? since yoshi isnt releaseing one for it yet, did you use the one for the dirtbike on it?. that should rip, it would eat a 465ex. you only need cams and carb for about over 45hp on the Z now, a 450 kit should be over 50 easy?.

how does it do? are you running the fcr carb?
