400ex vs. cr 125

sorry pal but my speedo said 120 and he was leaving me behind. his was bone stock and all original. my speedo is acurate too (with other bikes/atvs/cars) mabey you needed to crack it open.

Why do people always want to compare dirtbikes to quads? it just is plain dumb.

My cousins CR 125 ran 69 on the road beside a car.It had a PS-1 pipe and stock gearing.

D@mn honda makes those cr125 slow. My buddy races me on my raptor w/ his stock yz125 and he smokes me on top end, I'll have to say it does about 80mph.

the cr's, up until the late '90's had the best top end. his was a '85 and it raced me, going 120.

Dude... pal... If you think a stock CR125... 250, or even 500 can hit 120 MPH, ESPECIALLY a 125, you need to lay off the crack.

A stock CR125 goes between 65-70 MPH.. and no faster. 120? get real.

edit) If your talking KM and not MPH, thats feasable... but not realistic.
75 give or take is quite fast for a stock geared 125.

120+ KM/h which equals 75mph. this bike was completely stock/original. i was doing 120km/h on my XR250 like i said and he was leaving me behind (it was on pavement) i bet you a cr 500 or kx 500 can do 120mph. a stock YZ426 went 110mph on a runway. these big motors can pull tall gears too.

Aint no cr125 goin 120 mph. The bone stock CR500 that my uncle has runs 93 mph. That was beside my moms Focus. Most of those dirtbikes are made for quickness, not goin 70+ mph. All the mags say a stock 400ex runs 65 mph on a dry lake bed. I know first hand it runs 71 on the road. Through the first 3 gears, a CR125 pulls away from the EX, but on the top end they are about the same.
